San Mateo County Sets Records for Increase in Home Values Since 2015

The Bay Area saw tremendous (some might say astounding) increases in home prices, topping the previous extreme peaks seen year over year since 2019.

Even in the Bay Area's white-hot real estate market, it was San Mateo County that experienced the most significant increase in median home prices, consistently exceeding $2 million for the first time in Q2 2021, and sets the record as the only Bay Area county to do so.

I can attest to the astounding increases in home values after recently becoming a record-setting Sellers' Agent in San Carlos for the highest price for a two-bedroom, one-bathroom home, selling for $2.25M, and $652K over the asking price.
